Featured Artist in The Everyday Magazine

In January 2020 I was delighted to be a featured artist on the Everyday Magazine’s website & socials, with a bio and examples of my work.

I connected with the Editor, Jess Blackwell online and she was so encouraging about my art, and helpful with the submission process.

I have a lot of respect for Jess’ venture, which is to offer a platform for sharing creative work and building a community, to people who don’t currently work in the creative industry, or who don’t have other access to do so. Her features include artists, photographers and writers, all with unique and interesting work and something to share.

I think this is a really great idea, and have enjoyed every one of the published articles to date, discovering lots of interesting local artists and writers.

They threw a good launch party too, where I met a local graphic artist, also called Naomi! I love her work, it can be found here.

A bit of creative networking (partying), with a gin & tonic in hand!
