Invitation to Join The Emerging Artist Platform

A short while ago, I received an exciting message via Instagram. I had a lovely invitation from Misha, a curator at Handsford and Sons Fine Art, asking if I’d like to join an online art gallery they run called the Emerging Artist Platform. This would give me a chance to gain exposure for my work, and potentially make some sales via the platform.

I’ve been wondering for a while how to sell more of my work, and have looked into various ways to do it. I considered bolting a shop onto this website, but figured that without a large number of followers, no-one would really know it was here! Art gallery representation in some form, digital being the most likely, was something I’d heard of but didn’t know too much about at that point.

On looking into this a bit more across a variety of similar platforms, artists need to submit their work for review and are not always succesful, as there can be a lot of competition. So it was very exciting to hear from a fine art curator saying she loved my work, and inviting me to join their team. The costs were really reasonable too, and they have been so helpful getting my page up and running. So here it is - I’ve got a number of original works for sale here: emergingartistplatform.com/naomirusher

I will be submitting more pieces as I create them, so watch this space! I’m excited about this as I feel it’s something really positive and encouraging, especially after the general strangeness so far in 2020!

Big thanks to Misha @artfinderuk
